HIGH SCHOOL
The YES High School Program fosters the growth of academic skills, leadership,
cultural competencies, and a strong sense of self while guiding Scholars
through the college admissions journey to best prepare them for
postsecondary success.
The YES High School Program supports students academically,
culturally, and socially during their high school careers and prepares
them to be competitive candidates for college acceptance. YES staff
members work one-on-one with Scholars to create four-year college
readiness plans. Scholars and their families are supported through
every step of the college admissions process: from personal
statement seminars to YES college tours around the country. We
also work closely with families to navigate the complicated world of
college costs, providing individualized support for the financial aid
process and scholarship programs.
Additionally, we offer access to academic tutoring, internships,
summer programs, socio-emotional support, and career preparation
and other topical workshops.
COLLEGE & CAREER
The YES College & Career Program supports Scholars in every aspect of their
college careers, ensuring they have access to resources and opportunities for the
transition first to college and then to the professional world.
The YES College & Career Program supports students in finding the
optimal path to personal and professional success through
academic, social, emotional, financial, and career support. College
financial support for Scholars includes robust aid to cover tuition
gaps, housing, textbooks, and the hidden costs of college, such as
travel, health insurance, clothing, dorm supplies, and transportation.
YES also helps Scholars access immersive and experiential education
opportunities like study-abroad programs, professional internships,
and other transformative experiences often reserved for those from
higher-income families. YES provides comprehensive career and
graduate school preparation, and helps Scholars develop the
resumes and skills they need for post-college success, in both life and
career.
