HIGH SCHOOL
The YES High School Program provides comprehensive support to guide
Scholars to and through the college admissions process.
The YES High School Program supports students academically,
culturally, and socially throughout their high school careers,
preparing them to become competitive candidates for college
acceptance. When transitioning into high school, YES staff guides
rising 9th graders and their families through immersive workshops
introducing them to the high school experience and outlining the
college timeline starting from 9th grade. As Scholars progress, YES
staff members work one-on-one to create personalized college
readiness plans, offering access to academic tutoring, internships,
summer programs, socio-emotional support, and topical workshops.
Scholars and their families receive comprehensive guidance through
every step of the college admissions process, from personal
statement seminars to college tours around the country.
Additionally, YES works closely with families to navigate the
complexities of college costs, providing individualized support for the
financial aid process and scholarship programs.
COLLEGE & CAREER
The YES College Program helps Scholars develop the resumes and skills they
need for post-college success in both life and career.
The YES College Program supports students in finding the optimal
path to personal and professional success through academic, social,
emotional, financial, and career support. College financial support
includes robust aid to cover tuition gaps, housing, textbooks, and the
hidden costs of college, such as clothing, dorm supplies, health
insurance, and transportation. YES also helps Scholars access
immersive and experiential education opportunities like studyabroad programs, professional internships, and other transformative
opportunities often reserved for those from higher-income families.
YES provides comprehensive career and graduate school
preparation.
